Carrie Laws

Carrie joined Young Devon’s Board of Trustees in 2023, bringing with her over fifteen years of experience in family law. As a Director at The Family Law Company and President of the Plymouth Law Society, Carrie is passionate about ensuring that every young person has access to justice and support, no matter their circumstances.

Named West Country Woman of the Year 2024 for Diversity and Equality, Carrie is known for her thoughtful approach, fierce advocacy, and commitment to fairness. She is particularly experienced in representing children and families in complex and sensitive cases, and her work has earned her recognition across the legal community.
