Mental Health Youth Worker (Job Ref 22-86)
Salary – £ 23,360 (Due for increase from 1st April 2023)
32 hours per week.

At Young Devon we’re committed to making a difference for children and young people. This is a new and exciting opportunity to be part of our wider wellbeing team, using youth work skills to providing mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people to Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in Devon. PCNs are groups of GP practices who work together in a local area.
You will be working for Young Devon, based in a PCN as a member of the integrated teams in GP surgeries. We are looking for competent practitioners, able to work autonomously and creatively in a busy and demanding role. You will help to reduce isolation and improve health and wellbeing through aspects of social prescribing, health coaching, care co-ordination and low-level psychological intervention. Supporting individuals by engaging in fun and developmental activities, helping them to access a range of support services and interventions to bridge the gap between Primary Care and Secondary Mental Health Services.
We have a number of roles in Torbay, Exeter, Plymouth and South Hams.
