Are you committed to working with and supporting young people aged 16-25 and those that are care experienced?
We want to support young people to achieve their housing aspirations.

We work in partnership with Exeter City Council, supporting young people with care experience who may have experienced multiple disadvantages as they transition into independence.

The Care Leaver Navigator role gives you the opportunity to engage and work alongside young people. As part of a wider team you can support them to maintain or access accommodation. Building relationships of trust and understanding, whilst responding to their needs through a trauma informed lens. Supporting them to make decisions, have their voice heard and obtain the services they need.

Knowledge on housing protocols, legislation and housing options would be an advantage, however, training will be given for this specialised post.

If you think you have what it takes, especially if you have experience of working in housing or with care experienced young people, then we would love to hear from you.
