Payroll giving is a way to make a regular donation to Young Devon in a simple, tax efficient way. You do this through your employer’s Payroll Giving Scheme and if they don’t have one, encourage them to set one up.
All you have to do is authorise your employer to deduct your regular charitable donations from your salary; it’s that simple. Your employer will pay your donations to an approved Payroll Giving Agency who sends the money to the charity (or charities) of your choice.
Your donation comes out of your gross salary (so before you pay tax). So if you pay basic rate tax of 20%, it only costs you £8 to make a £10 donation to Young Devon. And your regular gift helps us plan what we can do with confidence as we know how much money will be coming in every month.
