Congratulations Violet Goldthrope!

Members of Young Devon were thrilled to attend the BBC Radio Devon ‘Make a Difference Awards’, to cheer on Violet Goldthorpe. Young Devon nominated Violet for the award to honour her incredible work to ensure young girls don’t end up on the streets.

In 15 years, Violet has provided a home to 135 young women at risk of homelessness; and is still in contact with so many of these today! We nominated Violet for the award to honour her incredible life mission to ensure young girls don’t end up on the streets. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Violet, for her ongoing commitment and help over the years.
