Minds That Matter

yd 2016 minds that matter

We are a group of young people who are passionate about changing mental health services for the better, for young people in the future.

One in ten young people will suffer from a diagnosed mental health condition in their lifetime. We believe that by bringing public awareness to young people’s mental health through 'Minds that Matter' we can make a difference and improve the experience of tackling mental health for everyone.

We want to take our campaign directly to the decision makers to highlight the increasing number of young people who need mental health support and that their needs are not being met. wp 20161007 13 46 13 pro 2 copy

Why is ‘Minds that Matter’ important to you?  “We want to get everyone to be comfortable with talking about their mental health so that we can all help each other.” Pheobe…

We need your help to make sure your stories about your mental health are listened to by decision makers, and the things that you would like to see changed are highlighted so they don’t happen again for other young people. To do this we need you to send us your video or written stories telling us about your mental health journey. What it was like for you, what helped and what you would have liked to seen change so it would have been better for you.

This is your chance to help us get your suggestions for change heard! Send us your videos or written submissions now, and we will publish them on these pages, share them on social media, and showcase them to decision makers who can make a difference.
