Salary - £19,051 per annum (pro rata)
Part time (6 hours per week) based at Sidmouth Youth Centre
Fixed-Term Contract until 31st March 2018
As a member of Young Devon it will be your duty to promote and support a quality of life experience, enabling young people to become resilient and succeed in their right to enjoy safe, healthy and happy lives. The position of lead worker will require planning and preparation of sessions and occasional events. The role is a leading position, facilitating face-to-face universal youth work sessions out of the youth centre in Sidmouth. The role will require the applicant to be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the participating young people and will include the thorough planning and delivery of informal education in partnership with support staff and volunteers.
