Tine and Ethan's 5K Fundraiser

Tine and Ethan's 5K Fundraiser

Our Exeter YES centre administrator Tine Casbolt and her son Ethan are running a 5K Inflatable course in aid of Young Devon.  Ethan chose Young Devon because he wanted to give back to other young people who are of a similar age to him.  Every penny counts. The money raised will help us to support young people in Devon live safer, happier and healthier lives. Last year we supported over 3000 young people aged 14-25 (the majority of whom are aged 16 -21), with a wide range of needs and areas of interest. Read more about their story and support them here...http://ow.ly/m0Fp30cEivF

Don't miss your chance to vote

Don't miss your chance to vote

On June 8th the UK goes to the polls to pick its new government.  At no point have young people been so detatched from the process.  Fewer young people than ever voted at the last election in 2015.   What that means for young people is that every political party will only care about those groups in society that will make a difference to their chances of electoral success. So none of the issues that affect young people will be top of their list because as a group they're simply not seen to make a difference.  You can only change that by encouraging young people to vote so politicians finally…

A night out with Eddie Jones

A night out with Eddie Jones

A big thank you to our friends at Tucker's Hall who made Young Devon one of their beneficiaries of this year's fundraising dinner. The dinner, which was held at Exeter Chief's Sandy Park ground, saw England Rugby Coach Eddie Jones give a fantastic after-dinner speach which helped raise even more money for the charity partners.   Tuckers Hall has been home to The Incorporation of Weavers, Fullers & Shearmen, the historic guild of Exeter's ancient cloth trade, since 1471.  Young Devon is delighted to have developed a strong relationship with Tuckers Hall through our shared committment to…
