Young Devon - Championing the Safe Network

safenetwork3Young Devon is now the Devon Safe Network Champion.  The Safe Network is managed by the NSPCC, Children England and the Child Accident Prevention Trust, and  provides information and resources to keep children and young people safe.  Information  available relates to activities outside the home – from after school art clubs to weekend reading groups. Safe Network resources are easily accessible on their website.

The charity sector is wide and diverse with many organisations providing excellent service for children and young people, their families, guardians and carers.  Young Devon wishes to support good practice across the sector, and as Devon Safe Network Champion can support smaller clubs and organisations to easily assess how 'safe' their organisation is, and to deliver affordable training if required.
