Our trustees

Young Devon is a registered charity governed by a Board of Trustees.

Our Trustees have ultimate responsibility for the governance Young Devon and directing how it is managed and run.  In practice this means that they are there to scrutinise everything that we do to make sure that we:

  • are true to our charitable aims and objectives
  • deliver the public benefits that we are required to by law
  • remain focused on developing services that really make a difference to the young people we exist to support

I have been in running a business for 30years, based in Plymouth Devon. I am passionate about giving young people a chance and have heard very impressive things about YD. I would hope that my business experience, both good and bad, coupled with my vast network of contacts, will bring a whole new dimension to the already impressive skillset of the current board. I want to facilitate the growth of the charity both in its set up and governance, but also in its capabilities and offerings.
